Maps & Directions

Arrival days are personalized for each of our guests. Our Antares Crew will coordinate a meeting place and time, prior to your arrival, based on your villa location and arrival time. All meeting spots are on St. John. Please refer to your email from hello@antaresvi.com — sent at least one week prior to your arrival — for the exact meeting location. Casa Del Palmas guests will meet their greeter in Cruz Bay. If you are staying at a self-check-in property, we'll email you instructions and directions in advance. Text our office at 321-421-0499 upon arrival to the airport for access codes.

Cruz Bay → Coral Bay ("The Triangle")

  1. Find the Traffic Circle. Most of the few roads in Cruz Bay will take you to the traffic circle near the school yard and Dolphin Market.
  2. In the Traffic Circle look for the two-way road marked Route 10 or Centerline Road. This is the only road taking you uphill from the traffic circle. Dolphin Market will be on your left as you make your way up.
  3. Travel for about 8 miles. After mile marker 8 you'll see a "Welcome to Coral Bay" sign. This T-intersection is known as "the Triangle" to locals. Your greeter will meet you there.

Cruz Bay → Bordeaux Mountain Road

  1. Find the Traffic Circle near Dolphin Market.
  2. Take Route 10 / Centerline Road uphill.
  3. Travel for about 4 miles. Once you go down the dip past Mile Marker 5 and the Reef Bay Trailhead, head uphill. The meeting place is at the next curve on the right — you'll see a group of mailboxes. We'll meet you here.

STT Airport → Red Hook Car Barge

  1. Exit the airport and take a right at the traffic light.
  2. Continue past downtown Charlotte Amalie, Havensite, and the cruise ships. The road will start to climb (Route 30).
  3. You'll come to a stop sign — bear left. (Note: the sign is behind a tree/bush and often missed. If you end up at the Marriott hotel, turn around.)
  4. Continue until you reach a T-intersection stop sign. Turn right. The "bridge to nowhere" will be on your right (Route 32).
  5. Stay on this road until you arrive in Red Hook. The car ferry will be on your right.

Travel time is approximately 35–45 minutes on a normal traffic day. If cruise ships are in and you're crossing downtown Charlotte Amalie between 4pm and 5:30pm, it can take significantly longer.

Car Barge Instructions

Note: barge schedules are subject to change every day.

  1. No reservation needed. First-come first-served is standard. Barges depart Red Hook (STT) to Enighed Pond (STJ). Multiple companies operate — check the Ferry Schedule for current times.
  2. Drive to Red Hook. The car barge and passenger ferry terminals are right next to each other; each has its own entrance. Arrive about 30 minutes prior to departure. A port tax is paid at the entry booth — ask us for current pricing.
  3. Waiting area. An attendant will ask which barge you plan to take and direct you where to park. Wait in your car until the barge is ready.
  4. Boarding. Attendants will direct drivers onto the barge and indicate where to park. You will reverse your vehicle onto the car barge.
  5. Buy tickets. Once on board, an attendant will approach to sell you a ticket — cash only. One-way or round trip. Double-check any return ticket for time and company constraints.
  6. Enjoy the ride. If sitting on the upper deck, start heading back to your car as you approach the dock at Enighed Pond, just outside Cruz Bay.
